Actuarial - Non Life Reserving General Insurance Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Reserving Team to analyze and estimate reserves for our P&C insurance products, including performing loss reserve reviews and analyses. Apply various reserving methods and techniques to estimate liabilities, such as loss development, loss ratio, and loss triangle analyses. Analyze data and perform actuarial calculations to assess risks and determine appropriate reserve levels. Conduct research and stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes related to reserving, including Solvency II or IFRS 17 requirements. Prepare and present actuarial findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and finance, to ensure reserve estimates align with business goals and financial reporting requirements. Assist in the development and enhancement of reserving tools, models, and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Provide support in the preparation of financial reports, including reserve-related disclosures. Stay updated with best practices in actuarial reserving methodologies and techniques. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master's degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics. Affiliation to IAI or IFOA, with 5-9 CT actuarial exams, SP7 will be an added advantage Atleast 4yrs+ Actuarial experience in the P&C insurance industry Strong reserving experience or good knowledge of reserving methods and techniques. Experience with Solvency II or IFRS 17 is a plus. Advanced skills in Excel, VBA, SAS, and other relevant tools for data analysis and modeling. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
