VAYUZ Technologies - Head of Product Design

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Product Design (UI/UX) to lead our growing design team and shape the future of our digital products.This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong design portfolio, user-centered mindset, and a passion for building intuitive and impactful user experiences. You will define the design vision, manage and mentor a high-performing team, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional user experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design Strategy & Leadership :

• Define and own the product design vision and strategy aligned with brand and business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a talented team of UI, UX, and interaction designers.
• Establish and enforce design standards, systems, and best practices across all products.
• Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product Experience Excellence :
• Oversee user research, usability testing, and data-informed design decisions.
• Translate complex product requirements into clear and elegant user experiences
• Ensure digital accessibility compliance (WCAG, ADA).
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems and component and Execution :
• Work closely with Product Management to align on priorities and user needs.
• Collaborate with Engineering for seamless and accurate design implementation.
• Balance visionary design with technical feasibility and delivery & Continuous Improvement :
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
• Explore and integrate innovative design approaches (e.g., motion design, AR/VR, AI-assisted tools).
• Foster a culture of feedback, learning, and continuous improvement within the design team.
  

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design, including 2- 4 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale web and mobile products.
• Mastery of industry-standard tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design and leadership outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and design systems.
• Experience leading and mentoring high-performing design Qualifications :
• Experience with SaaS or consumer tech products.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively partner with engineering teams.
• Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard design principles.
• Experience designing global/multi-lingual digital products.
