The Mechanical Design Detailing role at Webforge Locker drafting team involves providing essential technical support throughout the design and drafting process. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the use of company design and drafting methodologies, collaborating with Project Managers and Designers, and delivering drawing sets in a timely manner as per clients" requirements. With 3 to 5 years of experience, you will process orders for production and customer submittal drawings in alignment with Valmont standard practices. It will be crucial to meticulously check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Valmont drafting and design standards before seeking approval. Maintaining productivity output and order accuracy as per departmental priorities will be essential. Having a cooperative and professional attitude while interacting with all company departments is expected. You should stay updated on current Drafting policies and procedures, identify areas for improvement in drafting procedures and systems, and handle special assignments as requested by the Division Drafting Manager or Drafting Supervisor. As for qualifications, a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required. Advanced knowledge in Autodesk software such as Advance Steel, AutoCAD, Vault Professional, and Inventor (added Advantage) is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Trello/Jira, top-down/skeletal modeling, computer-aided drafting, and basic mathematics is expected. You should be able to contribute effectively to a multi-disciplinary team, support teamwork, and demonstrate initiative in identifying and implementing continuous improvement processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for successful collaboration with team members. Additionally, flexibility to work in different shifts, including the 6.00am-3.00pm shift or any other shift as per business requirements, is a must.,
