We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our SCP (Steel, Cement, Power) vertical. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in selling technical products or spares to the maintenance departments of steel, cement, and power plants. Preference will be given to professionals with exposure to industrial equipment, special purpose machines (SPMs), and capital equipment sales. Age criteria : 25 to 32 years Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Drive sales activities targeting the maintenance departments of steel, cement, and power plants. Identify, develop, and penetrate new markets and business areas to maximize growth opportunities. Generate new business from existing customers as well as acquire new clients. Planning & Reporting: Maintain daily MIS reports and weekly business activity reports to track progress against targets. Develop actionable plans and schedules to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Customer & Channel Management: Build and nurture relationships with channel partners for increased market reach and addressability. Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables. Market Expansion: Explore and create new market opportunities by understanding industry trends and customer requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in selling technical products or spares to maintenance departments in steel, cement, or power industries. Proven track record of selling industrial equipment, SPMs, or capital equipment is preferred. Strong techno-commercial knowledge with excellent negotiation skills. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience in managing and developing field sales activities. Area of Experience: 7-10 years Selling of technical products or spares to maintenance department of Auto Ancillaries/ Auto comp companies. Managing a sales team at least for two years.
