Site Engineer – Civil (Drainage, Retaining Wall & Labour Management) Location: Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Experience: around 10 years preferred Qualification: B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering Key Responsibilities Drain Construction Interpret and execute drainage layout drawings and specifications Supervise excavation, pipe laying, manhole construction, and backfilling Ensure slope, alignment, and levels are as per design Coordinate with surveyors and quality teams for inspections Retaining Wall Construction Oversee shuttering, reinforcement, and concreting activities Ensure structural stability and adherence to design standards Monitor curing and waterproofing processes Maintain safety and quality control on site Labour Mobilization & Management Plan daily workforce requirements based on project schedule Allocate tasks and monitor productivity of skilled and unskilled labour Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for manpower supply Maintain attendance, work logs, and resolve on-site labour issues General Site Duties Prepare daily progress reports and update project managers Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Manage materials, tools, and equipment efficiently Liaise with consultants, vendors, and local authorities as needed Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of civil construction practices Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Leadership and team coordination Problem-solving and decision-making on site Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Experience: Civil engineering: 10 years (Preferred) Location: Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
