You should have a B.com / PG / MBA degree with a good understanding of accounting and reconciliations. It is essential to have experience working in a fast-paced or global finance department. Previous experience in a shared service environment with an on/offshore presence is preferred. You should possess at least 3-4 years of work experience as an analyst in a similar environment. Demonstrating proven experience at this level within a financial setting is crucial. Effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders are required. Experience in financial services or banking with a basic understanding of bookkeeping is necessary. The ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain accuracy, especially when confirming incoming values, is important. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to resolve issues to a conclusion are key attributes. You should have demonstrable experience in resolving variances and using reconciliation systems. An excellent understanding of upstream systems and core Travelex reconciliation systems is desirable.
