As a VAPT Engineer (L2) at our company, your primary role will involve performing Penetration testing, which includes conducting vulnerability scans and manual assessments regularly. You will be responsible for accurately identifying and analyzing real-time data to eliminate false positives from the tool-generated reports. Your tasks will also include testing the effectiveness of implemented fixes on applications and creating detailed vulnerability reports for effective communication with the concerned team. Furthermore, you will be required to communicate security risks in applications and provide remediation guides to the development teams, in addition to staying updated on new vulnerabilities across various aspects. Your expertise will be crucial in assisting project teams in complying with enterprise and IT security policies, industry regulations, and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Perform Penetration testing, including vulnerability scans and manual assessments - Identify and eradicate false positives from tool-generated reports - Test the effectiveness of fixes on applications - Create detailed vulnerability reports and communicate effectively with the concerned team - Communicate security risks and remediation guides to development teams - Stay informed about new vulnerabilities - Act as a security expert in application development efforts Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4+ years of experience in VAPT roles - Proficiency in using Qualys Guard (VA) and HP Fortify (Source Code Review) tools This job opportunity is based in Mumbai/Hyderabad with work mode as Work From Office (WFO).,
