We’re actively seeking talent with expertise in the following area: Qualification: B.E (IT or CS) / B. Tech /MCA At least 12+ years of work experience in IT projects At least 10+ years of work experience in IT projects for Govt. clients Actively looking for new roles and can join in September Experience in IT projects in Finance sector. Responsibility Manage on-premises Kafka clusters (brokers, Zookeeper, Connect, Schema Registry), including deployment, configuration, and maintenance. Create and secure topics; manage access, naming conventions, and backups. Use tools like Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring; automate tasks and alerts with Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, Shell, Python, or Ansible. Provide operational support (upgrades, patching, capacity planning, performance tuning, troubleshooting). Onboard applications and support integration across languages/platforms. •Ensure compliance with industry and internal security standards. Maintain documentation and collaborate cross-functionally. Required: Deep Apache Kafka experience, strong Linux, automation/scripting skills, distributed security knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and clear communication. Strong critical thinking, independence, adaptability, eagerness to learn, and skill in conveying complex concepts. Manage Kafka topics, partitions, and data retention policies. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, replication lag, and connectivity issues. Implement and fine-tune alerts for critical metrics. Implement and maintain security measures for Kafka, including authentication/ authorization and encryption. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies. Proficiency in Linux environments and command-line tools. Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Shell, Python, Ansible) for automating routine Kafka administration tasks, such as provisioning, Setting up and configuring cache servers (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and related software, including web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) that utilize caching. Applying patches and performing upgrades. Knowledge of Kubernetes Containers and CLI.
