As a BESS Specialist (Design Engineering) at Avaada Group in Noida, India, your primary responsibility will be focused on system design and engineering of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to meet project goals. You will review load profiles, select and size battery systems, and optimize parameters for performance using simulation tools like MATLAB and Homer. Your technical expertise will be crucial, as you will need a deep understanding of BESS design, battery chemistry, performance modeling, and lifetime estimation. Additionally, knowledge of various battery applications and optimization strategies, as well as experience with AC and DC coupled BESS, will be essential in this role. Collaboration and integration are key aspects of this position, as you will work closely with electrical, civil, and PV engineering teams to develop battery container layouts, single-line, and three-line diagrams. Integration of Battery Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and SCADA designs from third parties will also be part of your responsibilities.
