Position: Operations Head Location: Delhi / Chennai CTC: TBD About the Role We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead, streamline, and automate our mutual fund and alternates distribution operations. The ideal candidate will oversee and create all back-office and client-servicing processes, drive automation initiatives, and ensure seamless workflows across platforms and teams. Manage the operations team handling mutual fund, AIF & other alternate investment operations. Part of the operations team for a mutual fund distribution/wealth management business Executing and monitoring investments (Mutual funds / PMS / AIFs) for clients Co-ordinating with intermediary platforms such as BSE Star, Redvision, etc. Co-ordinating with sub-distributors and customers for approvals, onboarding, KYC, etc. Preparing sub-distributor payouts Reconciliation of brokerage revenue and invoicing with Accounts Preparing AUM Outflow and Inflow MIS Should be able to fill in the Executive role in their absence Performance evaluation and hiring of operations team If required, Execute and monitor client investments (Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs) including AUM inflows and outflows, brokerage reconciliation, and sub-distributor payouts. Monitor and reduce NIGO (Not-in-Good-Order) cases and get the errors processed. Making various reports as per internal process and for client information purposes Lead initiatives for digital transformation within operations - leveraging CRM, dashboards, data analytics, and process mapping to deliver efficiency. Automate operational processes, Create dashboards and real-time MIS to track key metrics like TATs, AUM, pipeline, and client reviews. Develop structured SOPs and ensure user adoption of new processes. Ensure compliance with SEBI, AMFI, and other regulatory requirements. Also conduct periodic mock DDs and internal audits to ensure compliance. Co-ordinate with AMCs, RTAs, and intermediaries for operational activities and escalations. Desired Skills & Experience 5 years of experience of Operations with mutual fund distribution/wealth management businesses Hands on experience with Red Vision, BSE STAR, NSE MF, Mailback reports, etc. CRM & Workflow Expertise: Demonstrated ability to implement and manage CRM or equivalent platforms with centralized client data, ticketing, task automation, and communication tracking. Automation & Dashboards: Proven track record of designing automated workflows, triggers, templates, and dashboards to improve TAT and accountability. Document Management & SOPs: Skilled in integrating and managing centralized document repositories with version control, secure access, and role-based rights; drafting SOPs and training staff. Financial Services Knowledge: Familiarity with mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, client onboarding, compliance, and reporting.
