Additionally, the candidate must have experience in establishing and supervising large-scale Business Intelligence units. With over 15 years of relevant experience, the right candidate should showcase expertise in various areas including data processing and data science libraries of Python such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit learn. They should also demonstrate proficiency in handling massive datasets through tools like Apache Spark, Vaex, Dask, and leveraging them for machine learning algorithms development. Moreover, the candidate is expected to be well-versed in analytical models like promotion optimization, NLP, Cluster Analysis, Segmentation, Neural network models, Logistic Regression, ANN based model, LSTM, Transformers, and more. Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms like Azure, GCP, or AWS is crucial. Experience in automating model training, deployment, and monitoring using ML-Ops pipelines is preferred. Key responsibilities for this role include stakeholder management, project planning, scope definition, and project methodology explanation to stakeholders. The VP Data Scientist will lead end-to-end project deliverables, ensure adherence to SOPs, and provide training to junior team members. Managing a team of 20+ data scientists, overseeing project delivery, and addressing business challenges are essential aspects of this role.
