Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Account Officer to oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to lead and support the finance team in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Manage general ledger functions and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions. • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. • Support budgeting and forecasting activities. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations. • Monitor cash flows and prepare bank reconciliations. • Supervise and guide junior accountants or clerks. • Coordinate with internal and external auditors. • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. • Handle tax filings, including TDS, GST, and other statutory compliances. Requirements : • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred). • Professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA) is an advantage. • 4–6 years of proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a senior role. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP). • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
