Role & responsibilities Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned Senior Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing enterprise-grade API solutions using WSO2 API Management . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, API-first environment and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and modern integration ecosystems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using WSO2 API Manager (v4+ or later ). Lead API lifecycle activities: design, prototype, publish, monitor, and retire APIs. Configure and manage WSO2 API Gateway, Publisher, and Developer Portal . Implement API security policies including OAuth2, JWT, throttling, and CORS . Automate API deployment using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab Monitor API performance using tools like AppDynamics & Splunk . Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across distributed environments. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with WSO2 API Manager and related components. Proficiency in RESTful API design. Familiarity with API documentation tools like Stoplight . Solid understanding of API security, traffic management, and analytics. Experience with Git, Jenkins, BitBucket, JFrog . Preferred Qualifications Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. WSO2 certification (Developer or Integration Specialist) is a strong plus. Experience working in hybrid cloud environments (Azure). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
