As a System Engineer with 6-14 years of experience and a B.E/B.Tech qualification, you will play a crucial role in incorporating essential operating mechanisms of systems engineering in medical device design. You will adhere to engineering principles and medical device regulations to define system requirements, architecture, and interfaces that meet product requirements, risk analysis, and industry standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting system design analysis, selecting key components, defining control methods, and coordinating build and design integration. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product verification and validation planning, resolve technical integration issues, interface with safety agencies, conduct system testing, and coordinate with Philips design center. You will also conduct design reviews as part of the product development process to ensure customer requirements are met and designs are manufacture-able, serviceable, and reliable. Similarly, you will ensure the same level of scrutiny for subsystem requirements and product integration. Additionally, as a System Engineering Expert specializing in MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering), you will support the development of MBSE content in R&D projects across the business. You will manage system engineering information and its traceability within the model-based system environment, encompassing requirements, risks, design decisions, protocols, and results. Your role will involve creating appropriate requirements and designs for solutions, products, services, and testers. Furthermore, you will be responsible for deploying best practices for MBSE globally within Philips, offering training and coaching to R&D project teams to enhance maturity. You will identify improvement opportunities within Philips businesses related to the MBSE proposition, develop actionable proposals and plans, and create tailored training materials or workshops to address these opportunities. Project management practices will guide your activities and services, and you may coordinate small teams of system (MBSE) engineers as necessary.,
