The position is remote in Romania and applicants must already hold relevant work permission to live and work in Romania. This is a contract role with Euro rates. As a UI/UX Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to building the future of AI in the health industry. Your responsibilities will include designing intuitive interfaces for Patholytix, our AI platform utilized in toxicologic pathology and drug discovery. You will craft wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and UI components to simplify intricate scientific workflows. Creating responsive and user-friendly designs that cater to various devices and screen sizes will be central to your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our design system to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability. Conducting usability testing, incorporating feedback, and participating in customer demos will be vital aspects of your work. You will also act as a product owner for the UX/UI design process, creating and maintaining user stories. Promoting a user-centric approach within your team and the company, sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and advocating for good design throughout the product lifecycle are key responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of UX/UI design experience and showcase a strong portfolio that demonstrates your UX thought process and UI design skills. Experience in designing software products, especially complex systems or B2B tools, is essential. Proficiency in tools like Figma and FigJam, along with effective communication skills to lead design discussions, is required. Experience in Agile environments, working with cross-functional multicultural teams, and fluency in English are prerequisites. Any background in healthtech, AI, data visualization, or platform design would be a bonus.
