You will be joining Bright-River, a company that offers Visual Content services to major e-commerce and retail companies globally. Our team of 2D and 3D visual experts utilizes our in-house developed platform and custom applications to deliver product content on a daily basis. The Business Technology team, comprised of passionate engineers and developers, focuses on building robust solutions to support our operations across multiple offices in the Netherlands, Chennai, and Bangladesh. As an Adobe Scripting Developer, you will play a crucial role in automating creative workflows and developing tools to facilitate high-volume design production in a dynamic, cross-functional, and international setting. In this role as part of the Business Technology team, your responsibilities will include building and maintaining scripting solutions that seamlessly integrate with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop and Bridge to enhance our internal production processes. Some key tasks you will be involved in or responsible for include: - Developing Scripts: Creating and managing Adobe scripts using various tools like Typescript, JavaScript, CEP, and UXP to automate repetitive production tasks. - Automation of Workflows: Streamlining and optimizing visual content workflows across our production systems. - Designing Custom UI Panels: Building user-friendly panels and interfaces to boost designer productivity within Adobe Photoshop. - Providing Integration Support: Collaborating with other Production teams to integrate scripts with our internal platform. - Debugging & Maintenance: Troubleshooting and updating existing scripts to ensure performance and stability. - Documentation: Maintaining clear documentation for usage, version history, and updates for all custom tools. - Collaboration: Working closely with Production and Operations teams to understand and fulfill scripting requirements. - Training & Support: Offering internal support and training for users utilizing custom Adobe scripts. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Adobe automation, particularly in Photoshop Scripting. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript for CEP/UXP scripting, familiarity with Adobe Photoshop script DOM, and a minimum of 3 years of experience scripting for Adobe Photoshop and Bridge. - Knowledge: Understanding of batch processing, image manipulation, and file handling using scripts, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud workflows in a production environment. - Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
