Role Overview: Join NatWest Digital X as a Software Engineer, Unix And BPMN where you will have the opportunity to design, produce, test, and implement working software across the lifecycle of the system. Key Responsibilities: - Develop knowledge of aspects of the associated platform in the disciplines of business, applications, data, and infrastructure within a permanent feature team. - Manage the environment and software, perform Life Cycle Management, develop new services, and maintain existing services using common software like BPMN modelers and tools such as Eclipse. - Produce complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality to add value to the business. - Support Release Management on installations, including release weekends. - Analyze and resolve specific technical issues such as performance, stability, and project support. - Document system landscape and processes while improving and automating processes where applicable. - Work across the life cycle from requirements analysis and design through coding, testing, deployment, and operations. Qualifications Required: - Background in software engineering, software design, architecture, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports customers. - At least thirteen years of experience working with Unix environments like RedHat 7 or 8. - Experience in Java, Nodejs, and Web services like SOAP or REST. - Experience in databases such as Oracle, SQL, and JDBC with strong experience in BPMN modeling. - Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and wikis. - Experience in XML or UXML with knowledge of network and firewall principals. - Experience working with third-party suppliers and providers. - Background in solving highly complex, analytical, and numerical problems. - Experience in implementing programming best practices, especially around scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance.,
