Requirements

The

UX Engineer

is a mid-level role responsible for planning and executing user research, usability evaluations, and interaction design activities. This role requires a strong foundation in research-based design methods and the ability to work independently to create user-centered design solutions and prototypes.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative user research methods.
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma, or basic AI-driven tools ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar AI-enhanced design tools.
• A strong online portfolio showcasing design process, UX/Product artifacts, and Design Thinking methodologies.
• Strong business-level communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly present and confidently defend design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
  

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under minimal supervision to create personas, user profiles, and usage scenarios based on primary and secondary research.
• Conduct a variety of usability evaluations: heuristic reviews, card sorting, competitive analysis, cognitive walkthroughs, field studies, focus groups, and usability tests.
• Design and iterate on user interface structures, wireframes, and prototypes using tools like Figma.
• Collaborate with visual designers to ensure cohesive and accessible design solutions.
• Stay up to date and gain deeper proficiency in AI-enhanced UX design, personalized digital experiences, advanced cursor interactions, and data visualization techniques.
