Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance :
Installing, maintaining, and repairing utility systems, including water lines, gas pipes, electrical wiring, and waste management infrastructure.
Troubleshooting and Repair :
Diagnosing and fixing problems with utility systems, minimizing downtime and service interruptions.
Inspections and Preventative Maintenance :
Conducting regular inspections and performing preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, system updates, and compliance with safety regulations.
Emergency Response :
Responding to emergency calls and addressing urgent issues with utility systems.
Collaboration and Communication :
Working with other technicians, supervisors, and sometimes customers to ensure the smooth operation of utility services.
Adherence to Safety :
Following all safety regulations and protocols related to utility work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with utility systems.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including working outdoors and in confined spaces.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and sometimes customers.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous approach to record keeping, inspections, and maintenance procedures.
Safety Awareness:
Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
