Utility Lead

You have significant experience of 17-20 years and currently hold the position of heading the Utility section. Your qualification includes a B.E. in Mechanical on a full-time basis. Your skills are highlighted by your ability to manage both Hot & Cold utilities, Power plant operations, Boiler operations, and VAM (Vapor absorption chillers), among others. Your responsibilities encompass various aspects of Utility management: Strategy & Planning: - Define Utility Center of Excellence (CoE) goals in alignment with overall engineering objectives - Develop and review Utility CoE budget with the Engineering & Projects Head - Contribute actively to planning exercises and strategic initiatives from the utility perspective Maintenance & Debottlenecking: - Establish maintenance scheduling norms for preventive and breakdown maintenance - Monitor Annual Maintenance Contracts for equipment and ensure timely renewals - Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring utility issues and devise action plans for resolution Engineering Stores: - Set inventory norms and coordinate with Indirect Purchase Manager for optimal stocking levels Capital Expenses: - Provide technical expertise for utility infrastructure setups in engineering projects - Identify utility equipment needs, prepare investment proposals, and oversee installation and commissioning - Collaborate with vendors for sourcing and maintaining critical utility equipment Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: - Review equipment performance reports and take proactive measures to minimize breakdowns - Work with the Business Excellence team to drive process improvements and cost reduction - Ensure compliance with ISO requirements People Management: - Develop and engage employees to achieve function objectives - Monitor team performance and identify key performers - Arrange training programs to enhance team capabilities Workplace Safety: - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promptly address safety concerns through training and reporting.,
