The QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all printed materials — including books, notebooks, diaries, and other paper-based products — meet the company’s quality standards and client specifications. This role oversees quality assurance and control activities throughout all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final packaging, with a special focus on export orders requiring high precision, consistency, and compliance with international standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Planning and Control Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes for all production stages (pre-press, printing, binding, finishing, and packaging). Establish quality parameters and inspection criteria for both domestic and export jobs. Ensure compliance with international printing and packaging standards for export markets. 2. Inspection and Testing Conduct in-process inspections and random sampling to ensure consistency in color, registration, lamination, binding, and finishing quality. Supervise quality checks for materials (paper, ink, cover materials, binding accessories). Approve or reject finished goods based on quality standards before dispatch. 3. Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed QA/QC records for each job order, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions. Prepare quality summary reports for management and clients as required (especially for export shipments). Ensure traceability and compliance documentation for export consignments. 4. Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement Identify quality issues and coordinate with production and maintenance teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. Analyze recurring quality problems and lead improvement initiatives to reduce rejections and rework. Conduct periodic quality audits and training sessions for staff to reinforce best practices. 5. Coordination and Communication Liaise with clients, suppliers, and production teams to clarify quality requirements and specifications. Coordinate with logistics and dispatch departments to ensure quality preservation during packaging and shipment. Support the production planning team to align quality control processes with delivery schedules. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of QA/QC experience in the printing and packaging industry. Strong knowledge of offset and digital printing processes, binding methods, lamination, UV coating, and finishing techniques. Experience handling export-quality printing jobs (especially books, diaries, notebooks, and stationery products). Skills: Deep understanding of color management, registration, and print finishing quality standards. Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
