Your key responsibilities will include the preparation of Quality Control Plans (QCP) when necessary, performing inspections as per approved QCP, reviewing and potentially establishing new Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), witnessing welder qualifications, ensuring qualified welder records, conducting fit-up checks, weld visual inspections, dimensional inspections, and reviewing NDT reports according to the approved QCP. Additionally, you will be involved in painting inspections, marking/tagging checks, updating structural fabrication records and reports, ensuring the use of calibrated instruments, maintaining records of instrument calibration, dispatching all reports electronically or physically as required, and conducting any other activities as per the QCP. It is crucial that you work on behalf of TPL and ensure that all quality aspects are thoroughly checked, verified, and maintained. Supervise the calibration management of the companies inspection and manufacturing equipment, including CMM's, precision instruments, welding sets etc Manage and ensure competency in NDT techniques including UT and Dye Penetrant Testing of welds. Coordinate with design, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
