About Userhood Userhood is a UX/UI design studio and bootcamp that partners with early-stage startups to improve product usability, craft better user flows, and build delightful interfaces. We also run a hands-on design education program for emerging designers looking to break into the industry with strong portfolios. We’re looking for a Growth Associate to help us scale our outreach and lead generation. Responsibilities Research and identify potential leads (startups, product teams, creators, founders) Build, manage, and maintain lead databases using tools like Google Sheets, Notion, or Airtable Write and send personalized cold emails and messages Track open rates, replies, and funnel performance Use tools like Mail Merge, Apollo, Hunter, etc., to streamline outreach Report weekly progress with metrics and insights Collaborate on growth campaigns and testing strategies Support warm lead handoff and follow-ups. Skills Required Strong research and data-finding skills (LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Twitter, directories) Excellent written communication, especially for crafting concise, personal outreach messages Highly organized and able to manage multiple outreach pipelines Familiarity with spreadsheets, Notion, and basic lead gen tools Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and iterate fast Bonus: familiarity with startups, product design, or the UX/UI ecosystem. About the Role We’re looking for a Motion Graphic Intern to bring our visuals to life — someone who understands movement, timing, and how animation can amplify user stories and product journeys. You'll work closely with our design, product, and growth teams to create high-impact motion content for product launches, pitch decks, social media, and more. This is a Paid Internship What You’ll Work On Creating micro-interactions, UI motion mockups, and animated explainers Designing motion content for social media, product demos, and marketing Collaborating with visual and UI designers to animate interface elements Assisting in storyboarding and animating internal/external case studies Supporting video editing needs for community events, reels, or talks Experimenting with kinetic typography, transitions, and brand moments Helping evolve our motion language and maintain consistency across projects 🔧 Tools Stack After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma (for UI handoff) Blender / Lottie / Rive (bonus points if you're curious or experienced) 💡 You’re a Great Fit If You: Have a strong eye for movement, rhythm, and storytelling through animation Know the basics of video editing and motion design Are curious, experimental, and open to feedback Can adapt your motion style to different brand voices Enjoy collaborating with designers, developers, and product thinkers Have a portfolio/showreel (can include personal or academic work) What You’ll Get Hands-on experience working with real world products Opportunity to co-author motion-rich UX case studies
