As a Technical Writer, your primary responsibility will be to create, edit, and maintain technical documentation using DITA XML, ensuring compliance with DITA standards and best practices. A Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required. You should have advanced proficiency in DITA XML, including the creation of DITA maps, topics, and transformations. Strong technical skills, the ability to translate technical concepts into clear documentation, and proficiency in DITA authoring tools and other documentation software are also essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a proactive and flexible approach to handling tasks and challenges.
