Job Summary: The Systems Support Specialist is responsible for providing help desk systems support to clients within the company multiple regions including India, Singapore, and the Middle East Role & responsibilities Serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting software, laptop/PC hardware, printing and phone problems in a multi-site Active Directory environment. Preferred candidate profile Technical or Bachelors degree in CS, IT, Engineering or equivalent experience. 2+ years of PC support experience, combination of education and experience will be considered Experience with PC configuration/ upgrades and repairs Must have experience supporting Microsoft and MAC operating systems and applications Experience with supporting Microsoft Office suite of applications Knowledge of troubleshooting network issues (LAN/WAN) Knowledge of UNIX (variant) operating systems preferable Understanding of IP Phones and video conferencing desirable Knowledge of deployment tools like MDT or SCCM preferable Knowledge of PowerShell scripting highly desirable Lifting and moving of hardware and other equipment as required Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
