Role & responsibilities Underwriting of Car, Commercial Vehicles and Construction Equipment Assets Loan for the state. Deliver Best TAT in Credit underwriting. Managing CPMI , EWI and NS cases for the State. Maintain best portfolio quality and control delinquency. Manage fraud, Risk, Valuation activities. Find out market updates and take policy decision based on market conditions. Implement new credit policies and provide training for Credit & sales team . Manage branch based portfolio quality and take measures to control within the limit Conduct RCA for default customers and implement credit decision based on RCA. Preferred candidate profile Must Experienced of 10 to 12 years of Credit Underwriting role of Local Market of Used Commercial Vehicle Loan. Key Responsibilities: Collection & Recovery: Follow up on overdue accounts for used car and CV loans. Visit customers and guarantors for payment collection and issue resolution. Ensure timely recovery of EMIs, bounce charges, and overdue amounts. Field Visits & Tracing: Conduct field visits based on collection bucket (0-30, 30+, 60+ DPD). Trace absconding/defaulting customers through skip tracing tools and field intelligence. Customer Handling: Educate customers about payment obligations and resolve disputes. Negotiate settlements or restructuring in coordination with the recovery/legal team. Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with repossession agencies, legal teams, and branch collection units. Submit daily visit reports, recovery updates, and exception reports. Maintain MIS and update system entries accurately for each case. Compliance & Ethics: Follow collection SOPs and code of conduct (no coercion or unlawful recovery methods). Adhere to RBI and company guidelines for ethical collection practices. Preferred candidate profile Preferred Background: Experience in vehicle finance collections with NBFCs, banks, or recovery agencies. Exposure to used vehicle segment is highly desirable.
