In this role, you will work closely with our design and product development teams to create toys and games that delight both kids and parents. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, an understanding of user centred design principles, and a passion for working with physical materials. Art and Craft Range- Art&Craft Range Key Responsibilities: 1. Market Research: Conduct thorough research to understand the toy market, focusing on different age groups, current trends, and emerging opportunities. 2. Conceptual Design : Assist in creating conceptual briefs for new toys or games based on market needs or specific guidelines from Product Managers. 3. Prototyping : Develop physical prototypes using various materials available in our design library (MDF, foam, rubber bands, paper, etc.). 4. Prototype Optimization : Work on refining and optimizing prototypes to be ready for manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, die cutting, and other production techniques. 5. Costing and Materials: Learn and assist in understanding the in-house costing mechanisms, calculating bill-of-materials (BOM) for prototypes. 6. User Testing: Conduct user testing with children and parents to assess the usability, fun factor, engagement, and value for money of prototypes. Provide insights and feedback based on the testing. 7.
