Job Title: Team Leader – Accounts (US Accounting) Office Location: Sindhubhavan Road, Ahmedabad (Fully Remote) Shift Timing: 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST Employment Type: Full-Time – Night Shift Experience Required: Minimum 4-5 years in US Accounting Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accounts Team Leader to lead our US accounting team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in bookkeeping, tax, and compliance for US-based clients, with proven leadership ability to supervise a team and ensure client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and review the work of junior accountants and executives. Finalization of Books: Oversee and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; resolve escalations, ensure timely communication and deliverables. Workflow & Deadline Management: Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met. Quality Control: Conduct internal reviews and ensure accuracy and compliance in all bookkeeping and reporting. Training & Development: Support ongoing training for junior staff and ensure knowledge of updated US accounting standards. Compliance: Ensure proper tax filings, payroll processing, and sales tax compliance with the help of internal and external teams. Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and suggest automation or best practices. Required Skills: Strong hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks Online/Desktop , Xero , and related accounting tools. Expertise in US GAAP , payroll processing , sales tax , and 1099/1040/1120 filings . Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong understanding of client confidentiality and data protection. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting or Finance Certification in US Taxation or QuickBooks (preferred) Prior experience working with CPA firms or offshore KPOs
