US Tax Compliance - Staff - India - Mumbai

As a US Tax Staff at Plante Moran located in Mumbai, India, you will have the opportunity to participate in client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, and completing tax projects. Your responsibilities will involve preparing federal, state, and city returns for partnership, C Corporation, and S Corporation clients. Additionally, you will be involved in developing client-focused tax planning and transaction structuring concepts by proactively engaging with clients to gather necessary information. This role also offers the chance to contribute to internal learning and development committees and other firm leadership objectives. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and have at least 1 year of recent experience in public accounting. Preference will be given to candidates with a CA, CPA, or EA qualification. Strong technical skills in public accounting, particularly in taxes for real estate companies, private equity companies, partnerships, and/or LLCs, are essential for success in this role.
