Experience 6 To 8 Year(s) Skill set Catia V5, Teamcenter, BIW CAD Domain knowledge New product development - BIW CAD Job Description • Excellent hands-on experience in CAD (Catia V5 - Part modelling/GSD/drafting) and knowledge on Teamcenter/Vismockup. • Take ownership in design and development process of BIW parts from concept to final design as per the design requirements within the timeline. • Responsible for design review / technical review with cross functional team on commodities. • Sound knowledge in manufacturing feasibility, packaging study and attachment feasibility. • Should be a team player and demonstrate good customer cross functional relationships. • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with good problem-solving skills. • Strong communication & Inter-personal skills to handle Engineers, Suppliers and Customers from different regions. • Actively promote and maintain a safe, respectful and inclusive work environment.

Senior BIW Design Engineer (Closures / Upper Body / Underbody) Experience Required: 6 to 10 Years (Min 6 yrs exp mandatory) Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelors/Masters degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Aerospace Engineering Tools & Software: • CAD : CATIA V5/V6 Closures • Design of door panels , hoods , tailgates , fuel flaps • Knowledge of hinges, latches, strikers , and sealing systems • Integration with weatherstrips, gas stays, dampers, and reinforcements Upper Body • Development of roof structure , pillars (A/B/C/D) , side frames • Reinforcements for crash safety , NVH , and roof crush • Experience with spot welds , MIG welds , and laser brazing Underbody • Design of floor panels , tunnels , rockers , cross members • Knowledge of load paths , seat mounting zones , battery packs (for EVs) • Familiarity with suspension mounting brackets , fuel tank integration , crash can designs

Position Name: Development_Engineer_Mechanism. Department: Research and Development Qualification: BE/ ME. (Mechanical/Automobile) Years of Experience: 6 to 12 years Location: Pune, Chakan Purpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role): Lead, represent door & tailgate from all projects. Responsible for doors & tailgate to provide technical input to suppliers and plant colleagues to meet product requirement ensuring right material, process and functionality of the product. Bridge for VW group technical requirements for component ,system development achieving engineering milestone. Responsible for achieving development milestone with cost targets set for project. Responsible for releases recommendations like P,B, BMG ,K ensuring legal and homologation standards including testing and validation results. Authority: To lead the technical discussions during design, product development /manufacturing process. To create, coordinate and release SET relevant documents for approvals. Authorized to take decisions on component design and testing failures and provide solutions. Take required decision for the project related activities on regular reporting forums. Understanding on testing and validation criteria Self-starting and self-motivation, Ability to think in wider scope Good communications skills and team player Team player & CFT Team leading ability Product and process knowledge Key Responsibilities &Tasks: Coordinates Sub-group to implement the project tasks and reporting to relevant Team head about project progress. Contributes to setting project parameters and their optimization, including time plan, project goals, allotment of resources and saving plans. Analyze, prepare, propose and execute the product development process at component, system and vehicle level in an efficient and appropriate way, incl. materials, technical solution and technology for decision making or implementation Single Point contact as part owner for suppliers & other departments. Coordination with departments like QA, pilot hall, Purchasing & Development for product optimization and issue resolution. Create 3D data, 2D drawings, PDM, TLD, DFMEA and other needed documentation. Upload the documentation in IT systems, for releasing Responsible for milestones and deliverables (Concept car, STRAK etc.) till EOP. Creation of WF documentation and release it (P, B, BMG, K etc.) including relevant administrative activities Evaluate the test results, define counter-measures and cooperate on their realization. Prepare release recommendation documents for BMG & K-release Create documents (problem sheets) and presentation for working level / mid management meetings Based on PEP (Product development process) guidelines ensure that the respective component milestones (technical and budgetary) are completed within the stipulated time period and with the desired result Support regular development team meetings, facilitate discussions SET wise, interdepartmental, with development consultants, HQ & suppliers to arrive at best solutions for product and company.
