Job Title: Site Engineer (Industrial Project) Location: Chennai Department: Site Execution / Project Management Reporting to: Project Manager / Construction Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Site Engineer with hands-on experience in industrial construction projects such as factories, warehouses, manufacturing units, or processing plants. The role involves overseeing on-site activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely and quality execution as per project specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Execute and monitor daily site activities for industrial construction projects. Read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs. Supervise and coordinate work of subcontractors, labor, and vendors. Ensure proper implementation of construction methods and adherence to quality standards. Manage materials, equipment, and workforce efficiently on site. Monitor progress and report daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager. Resolve any technical issues or site constraints in coordination with design and planning teams. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and environmental policies. Participate in site meetings and assist in client/vendor coordination. Conduct inspections, quality checks, and maintain site documentation and records. Qualifications: Bachelors/Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline. 3-6 years of experience in site execution, preferably in industrial construction projects. Strong understanding of industrial building standards, construction methodologies, and materials. Familiarity with project management tools, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: Exposure to steel structures, RCC works, and MEP coordination. Knowledge of ISO/QC documentation, billing, and safety practices. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Billing Engineer chennai 2 - 7 years INR 2e-05 - 8e-05 Lacs P.A. On-site Full Time

Location: Chennai Department: Engineering / Commercial Reports to: Project Manager / Commercial Head Experience: 2-7 years in billing and quantity surveying, preferably in industrial construction projects Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent Job Summary: The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing and managing project billing and contractual documentation for industrial construction works. This includes quantity take-offs, preparing RA bills, subcontractor billing, reconciliation, and coordination with clients and site teams to ensure timely and accurate billing. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of client RA (Running Account) bills and submission as per contract terms. Prepare subcontractor bills and ensure accuracy as per site measurements. Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and verify with executed works on site. Maintain billing records and ensure compliance with contract agreements and BOQ . Coordinate with the site execution team, planning, and purchase departments for timely inputs. Manage monthly billing cycles and support financial reporting with project cost and revenue data. Prepare material and resource reconciliation statements (steel, cement, etc.). Ensure all billing and invoicing is in line with contractual clauses, taxes, and statutory norms . Support project audits and provide necessary billing documentation. Monitor variation orders, claims, and billing for extra items . Liaise with the client for bill certification, payment follow-up , and resolving billing disputes. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of billing systems, construction contracts, and BOQ formats Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP software (SAP / Oracle / any) Understanding of civil engineering drawings and construction processes Detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams Knowledge of CPWD/IS codes , taxation (GST, TDS), and statutory compliance Preferred Background: Experience in EPC or industrial construction projects such as power plants, refineries, factories, or warehouses.
