The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, an eye for detail, and a passion for quality. You will be responsible for ensuring our platform meets the highest standards of usability, performance, and reliability. Job Type: Contract / Hybrid / Full-Time / Long-term Location: Ahmedabad only Responsibilities: Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications. Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and exploratory testing. Document and manage bugs with detailed reproduction steps using tools like Jira. Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle. Participate actively in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile/Scrum process. Provide clear and concise test documentation and reporting. Validate bug fixes and production deployments in coordination with the release team. Ensure consistent testing practices across multiple platforms (web, mobile, etc.). Perform smoke and sanity testing during each release cycle. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies. Technical Requirements and Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in manual software testing. Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar. Hands-on experience in testing web applications, with a strong understanding of HTML, HTTP, and browser behavior. Ability to write detailed and structured test cases and test scenarios. Familiarity with API testing tools (like Postman) is a plus. Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., MongoDB or PostgreSQL) for data validation is a plus. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and a mindset for edge-case and exploratory testing. Additional Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in working in Agile/Scrum development process. Ability to collaborate across distributed, cross-functional teams. General Requirements: Availability to work during the IST working hours.
