We are looking for a detail-oriented Hardware Test Engineer specializing in Line Parts Management (LPM) to join our Bangalore team. The role involves close coordination with vendors, buyers, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability and management of materials required for hardware testing and production. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, track purchase orders, and ensure the readiness of BOMs (Bill of Materials) to support smooth line operations. Key Responsibilities: Sync daily with SDRIs (Supplier Data Request Initiators), buyers, and vendors to obtain and update current material status in trackers promptly. Collect and monitor key metrics such as QPL (Qualified Parts List), UPH (Units Per Hour), on-hand quantity, inventory levels, and demand forecasts. Track Purchase Numbers (PN), Purchase Requests (PR), and Purchase Orders (PO) to ensure timely release and delivery. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFT) to address material requirements and resolve queries effectively. Conduct BOM readiness checks for each test station to ensure materials are available and compliant. Monitor goods received against planned orders to maintain inventory accuracy. Obtain acceptance letters from respective users confirming receipt of materials. Manage inventory including receiving, scrapping, and maintaining safety stock levels to prevent shortages or excess. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) in Electronics, ECE, EEE, or related disciplines. 2 to 6 years of experience in parts management, inventory control, or hardware test engineering roles. Strong coordination skills with experience working alongside vendors, buyers, and cross-functional teams. Proficiency in inventory management and order tracking systems.
