To uphold this image, the person in charge will focus mainly on monitoring workplace safety through total compliance with government and local regulations. To apply you need to have: Top-level expertise in health and safety As the person in charge, you must have a degree in Environmental Science, and at least three years’ experience in managing EHS tools and systems across complex, multisite properties. It is also highly desirable to have Lead Auditor Qualifications, Chartered Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) certification or any other equivalent. An in-depth understanding of international safety standards is also a big plus. Likewise, the ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in root cause analysis, management system auditing and EHS-related research. You must also show a flair for reports and presentations—providing smart insights and developing policies when needed.
