Analyzing update logs to identify potential issues and enforcing security policies regarding updates to ensure timely application of critical patches will be crucial. Monitoring for vulnerabilities and implementing necessary updates to address them, as well as generating reports on update compliance and potential issues, will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be required to maintain comprehensive documentation on update procedures and troubleshooting steps. In terms of technology, you should have expertise in Windows operating systems and update management features, proficiency in system management tools like SCCM or Intune, and an understanding of security best practices related to patching and updates.
