You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code. Your main focus will be on the development of components required for the rollout of HR functionality with integration to upstream & downstream systems. You will collaborate with other development teams to agree and document the design of interrelated functions. It is important to support the development manager by providing reliable estimates for assigned work and alerting them of any delays or issues as early as possible. You will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle and contribute towards the betterment of delivery through activities such as peer reviews and unit testing. Furthermore, you will ensure that the code is rigorously tested before deployment to QA. To be successful in this role, you should have 5-7 years of IT experience in Java software development and 2-3 years of experience as a DevOps (CI/CD) or Support Engineer. Strong Core Java skills and proficiency in the Spring framework are essential. Hands-on experience with relational databases, SQL (DML, DDL), messaging systems (JMS, MQ, Solace), and Hibernate is required. Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS, scripting, and code management tools like GitHub or Perforce is a plus. Experience with Maven, Tomcat, web applications, and system integration using industry-standard APIs and web services will be beneficial. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills are also important for this position.,
