Role & responsibilities : The Service cum Spares Head is responsible for end-to-end management of after-sales service operations and spare parts business for construction machinery and equipment. This role focuses on ensuring machine uptime, maximizing customer satisfaction, optimizing spare parts availability, and driving after-market revenue. The position involves strategic planning, dealer and service network development, team leadership, and process optimization to strengthen brand reputation and market leadership in the construction equipment industry. Key Responsibilities: Service Operations Leadership: Oversee all service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair services. Implement service processes to ensure high equipment uptime and timely resolution of warranty claims. Drive annual maintenance contract (AMC) and preventive maintenance programs. Spare Parts Management: Forecast, plan, and maintain optimal spare parts inventory across the region. Manage the supply chain to ensure a smooth flow of parts to the service network. Dealer & Service Network Development: Develop and strengthen the service and spares network, including dealers and service centers. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of field service engineers, service managers, and spares executives. Build technical expertise within the team through structured training programs. Process & Technology Advancement: Implement ERP/CRM systems for tracking service calls, parts planning, and dealer management.
