As a Sewing Machine Operator Trainer in DDU-GKY, your role will involve providing domain skill training to students. This includes teaching cutting, stitching, hemming, and finishing techniques. Additionally, you will introduce students to fabric types, measurements, patterns, and garment construction methods. It will be part of your job to educate them on machine maintenance, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. In terms of practical training, you will conduct hands-on sessions where students will learn to stitch various garments like shirts, pants, and blouses. You will also organize workshop-style practices to simulate real-world industry environments, providing students with valuable experiential learning opportunities. Job Opportunity: Senior Project Manager – DDU-GKY Project Organization: Universal Ideal Sewa Samiti (UISS) Location: Varanasi Position Type: Full-time About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager (SPM) to lead our projects under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY). The SPM will be responsible for end-to-end project management, compliance with Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) guidelines, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring quality outcomes in training and placement. Key Responsibilities: Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of DDU-GKY projects across multiple training centers. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), MoRD guidelines, and State Skill Development Mission (SSDM) norms. Manage the project lifecycle including mobilization, training, assessment, certification, placement, and post-placement support. Oversee MIS reporting, project documentation, and milestone-based invoicing. Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, industry partners, and funding agencies. Lead a multidisciplinary team of Project Officers, Trainers, Mobilizers, and Placement Coordinators. Drive placement outcomes as per project deliverables and ensure quality monitoring through internal audits. Prepare presentations, compliance reports, and communication for stakeholders including SSDM, SRLM, and NSDC. Troubleshoot project challenges and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are achieved within timelines. Required Qualifications & Skills: Educational: Post-Graduate / MBA (preferred) in Management, Rural Development, or Social Sciences. Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Skill Development / Livelihood / Government Projects, with at least 5 years in DDU-GKY project management. Strong knowledge of DDU-GKY SOP, PPWS, Kaushal Bharat portal, and placement compliance norms. Proven track record in managing large teams and multi-state projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Office and MIS tools.
