Job Title : Unity Game Developer Company: Blue Squirrel Studios Location : Pune, India (Work from Office) Job Overview : We are looking for a skilled Unity Game Developer to design, develop, and deploy games across both mobile and PC platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Unity, a deep understanding of game mechanics, and experience optimizing performance for different devices. As a key member of our development team, you will contribute to every phase of game development from concept to release, ensuring that each game delivers a seamless and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain mobile and PC games using Unity3D. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for gameplay mechanics, UI, and game systems. Optimize game performance for both mobile and PC platforms, ensuring smooth gameplay on various devices. Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to implement and refine game features. Implement and troubleshoot game logic, UI/UX elements, and multiplayer systems. Work closely with QA teams to test and debug games, resolving issues and optimizing performance. Stay up to date with the latest Unity features and best practices to improve game development workflows. Manage version control (e.g., Git) for project code and assets. Contribute to the creative development of game features and systems. Required Skills and Qualifications : Proven experience in game development using Unity3D. Strong knowledge of C# and Unitys scripting API. Experience developing and publishing games on mobile (iOS/Android) and/or PC platforms (Steam, Windows, etc.). Familiarity with game physics, animations, and rendering techniques. Experience with performance optimization for mobile devices and PCs. Solid understanding of 3D math, vector operations, and game mechanics. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work cross-functionally with designers and artists. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
