You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive games using Unity 3D and C#. Your role will involve integrating IoT hardware such as sensors, wearables, and smart devices into gameplay mechanics. You will work with APIs, SDKs, and communication protocols like MQTT, HTTP, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi to connect IoT devices to game environments. Additionally, you will be implementing real-time data streaming from IoT devices to influence in-game events and optimizing performance for various platforms including PC, mobile, and VR/AR. Collaboration with hardware engineers, UX/UI designers, and gameplay designers will be essential to ensure seamless IoT-game interactions. It will be crucial for you to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions clearly to team members, managers, and clients. Testing, debugging, and refining device-to-game connectivity for a smooth player experience will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying updated on IoT trends, Unity updates, and game development best practices will be necessary to excel in this role. The ideal candidate for this position should possess at least 3-5 years of professional experience in Unity game development and demonstrate strong proficiency in C# programming and Unity's scripting environment. Experience in IoT integration with game applications and familiarity with IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, WebSockets, BLE, or REST APIs will be required. An understanding of hardware-software integration and real-time data handling is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and present technical concepts clearly. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment are highly valued. Experience with version control systems like Git and SVN is preferred, along with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
