As a Unity Developer at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting problem statements that are revolutionizing the way education is delivered. You will work closely with our cross-functional team of educators, designers, and engineers to craft a unique and engaging learning experience for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Unity, C#, and have a passion for creating educational content. Roles & Responsibilities - Work with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and implement educational games in Unity - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C# - Collaborate with designers, artists, and educational experts to create engaging and effective educational experiences - Test and optimize games for various platforms and devices - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in game development and educational technology - Attend stand-ups with product and design teams to ideate gaming ideas and specifications - Make suggestions and implement ideas to improve game experience - Ensure products conform to high industry standards Requirements - 2+ years of experience with Unity and C#, and ability to write code that conforms with standard naming conventions - Understanding of State machine design patterns - Strong understanding of game development concepts and workflow - Passion for creating educational content - Worked on video games (actual gameplay mechanics) - Worked on Strategy/Management/Multiplayer games - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong verbal and written communication skills - A robust portfolio of previous game development work - Familiarity with Unity's UI system - Understanding of building for different game devices: console, mobile, desktop, tablet - Ability to make decisions to improve efficiency - Willingness to go the extra mile to ship a product that YOU are proud of Nature of Work: - Work from Questt HQ in HSR Layout, Bangalore (We may or may not have a PS4 Gaming Station at the office) - You will be working 6 days a week with flexible timings - You get 0-1 Building Experience - Freedom to experiment and innovate - High Ownership of tasks Perks of working with us - Gaming station equipped with PS4, Oculus Quest 2, and Table Tennis - Yearly off-site to unwind - Close-knit team - We always find a reason to celebrate!
