To plan and organize informal pre-school activities in the Anganwadi for children in the age group 2-6 years of age and to help in designing and making toys and play equipment of indigenous origin for use in Anganwadi. 2. To track the progress of every child’s development through the assessment tools and bring about necessary interventions to improve their growth and development 3. To maintain cordial & professional relationships with the ICDS workers, Community Heads and Other stakeholders 4. To elicit community support and participation in running the program 5. To conduct discussions and get feedback from the community on the facilities provided 6. To coordinate and conduct Mother’s meetings and Monthly events every month and provide awareness on health, nutrition, and all topics relevant to child development 7. To make home visits to educate Adolescent Girls , Pregnant and Lactating Mothers (ANC & PNC) ,Parents on the importance of ICDS and its functions, to enable mothers to plan an effective role in the child’s growth and development with special emphasis on the newborn child. 8. To form committees (Mazhalaiyar Membattu Kuzhu) from among the community and conduct monthly meetings 9. To improve and strengthen the role of the MMK members and increase their involvement in the activities of the Anganwadi 10. To maintain registers, files, and records as prescribed. 11. To provide daily updates on WhatsApp and Monthly reports in written 12. To submit timesheet invoices and other bills at every end of the month. 13. To carry out the activities that are informed by the Manager of UWC 14. To bring to the notice of the Manager from UWC any development in the community or the Anganwadi that requires their attention and intervention, particularly in regard to the work of the coordinating arrangements with different departments. Responsible for managing the finance aspect of the project and will report to the Head – Finance Responsible for the project’s day-to-day cash needs, transfers, checking all bills /vouchers Responsible for all the financial audits pertaining to projects. Develop financial reports as per donor’s requirements and submission a timely report to donors. Maintaining appropriate files/records/ documents towards meeting legal and statutory requirements. Review and scrutinize project related expenses and supporting documents submitted by staff. Preparing monthly financial statements and reconcile Bank statement. Ensure adherence to organization and projects policies and procedures Ensure all statutory, donor and organizational compliances are adhered to with regard to sound financial management. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including FCRA, Income Tax, GST,PT, PF, and other applicable laws. Manage all financial transactions between vendors and donors. Ability and willingness to undertake extensive travel as and when required. Manage and handle the ongoing communication with Donor’s office and build rapport as a single point contact. Responsible to make financial statement, utilisation statements for auditors and donors Lead the donor audit process and provide all documents to donors , write responses to findings, and ensure smooth closure of audits. Coordinate with auditors (statutory, internal, and donor-specific) and ensure timely completion of audits. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and the Board. Strengthen internal control systems and financial policies. Train and guide finance and program staff on financial procedures and compliance.
