UWI currently operates water purification plants in West Bengal, in addition to our operations in Europe, and aims to expand significantly across the state and other regions of India in the near future. UWI is headquartered in Zug, Switzerland. We are looking for a driven, solutions-oriented and high-performing professional to support both executive operations and business development efforts. This role will play a vital part in the company’s growth in India and requires a proactive team player with experience in working closely with senior leadership in an international business setting. Location: Mumbai, India Responsibilities · Act as the right hand to the CEO, supporting day-to-day operations and business initiatives · Prepare research briefings, strategic presentations, and meeting updates for the CEO and senior leadership · Attend key meetings and track follow-ups, ensuring timely execution of actions across teams · Contribute to business development by identifying new leads, coordinating outreach, and supporting pipeline management · Manage diaries, schedules, travel arrangements, and logistics for the CEO and senior team · Support internal coordination for business development projects across India · Oversee office operations, vendor management, and budget monitoring · Assist in correspondence, reporting, and drafting of business proposals and communications · Maintain financial and administrative processes including audits, payroll, and HR records · Coordinate digital communications, including website and social media updates · Support the implementation of internal systems and workflows to improve efficiency Requirements · Bachelor’s degree required · 5+ years of experience in business development support, executive assistance, or management support roles · Strong initiative, leadership, and ability to drive execution · Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (other languages a plus) · High level of discretion and professionalism with confidential information · Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills · Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities · Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment More about us: www.uwiag.com

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Engineer with deep expertise in water process engineering, system planning, and design to drive the technical delivery of UWI’s BioGreen™ systems across India and beyond. This role is central to UWI’s growth strategy, offering full lifecycle responsibility—from co-development via conceptual engineering and system design , through procurement and asembly partner coordination , to overseeing installation and long-term operations & maintenance . You will work closely with our Swiss HQ and play a lead role in engineering innovative, efficient, and scalable water purification solutions , particularly for the Indian market. Key Responsibilities Lead the engineering and design of water purification systems, ensuring compliance with local conditions, regulatory requirements, and performance targets Develop detailed system plans , P&IDs, layouts, and process workflows, with input from HQ Oversee procurement, supplier engagement, and assembly partner coordination , ensuring high-quality execution and cost control Supervise installation, commissioning , and technical handover of systems to operations teams or clients Take ownership of operations and maintenance strategies , developing SOPs and troubleshooting guidelines Collaborate across disciplines to integrate field learnings and continuously improve system performance Stay current on regulatory frameworks, certification standards , and relevant technological advancements Support customer engagements by translating technical features into operational benefits Candidate Profile Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in engineering, designing, and delivering water or process systems at scale Strong background in process engineering, hydraulics, filtration, pumps, and automation Demonstrated ability to plan, model, and optimize complex water treatment processes Experience in managing technical suppliers , fabrication partners, and field installation teams Highly detail-oriented with excellent project planning, documentation , and execution skills Fluent in English (professional level); Hindi or other Indian languages are a plus Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Water Process Engineering , Environmental Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , or a closely related field For more information about the company, visit: www.uwiag.com
