Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Train Locopilot, located in Chhattisgarh, India. The Train Locopilot will be responsible for operating locomotives, ensuring safe and timely transportation of passengers and goods. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring the locomotive's performance, following signaling instructions, making quick decisions in emergency situations, and performing pre-departure inspections. Collaborating with other train crew members to ensure smooth operations is also essential. Qualifications Experience in operating locomotives and understanding of railway signaling systems Strong observational skills and quick decision-making abilities Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in rail transport Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to work on-site in Chhattisgarh, India Relevant certification or training as a Train Locopilot is a plus Previous experience in the rail transport industry is beneficial
