GOLD LOAN OFFICER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SOURCING, ASSESSING, PROCESSING, AND MANAGING GOLD LOAN APPLICATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMPANY POLICIES AND RBI GUIDELINES. THE ROLE INVOLVES HANDLING CUSTOMER QUERIES, VERIFYING THE PURITY AND WEIGHT OF GOLD, ENSURING ACCURATE DOCUMENTATION, AND ACHIEVING SALES TARGETS. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Loan Processing: Greet and assist walk-in customers seeking gold loan services. Explain loan terms, interest rates, repayment options, and documentation required. Collect and verify KYC documents as per RBI guidelines. Gold Appraisal & Verification: Accurately assess the purity and weight of gold using standard techniques. Determine eligible loan amount based on gold valuation and company policy. Ensure proper tagging, storage, and security of pledged gold. Loan Disbursement & Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation for loan disbursement. Enter customer and loan details into the software system. Generate loan agreements and disburse funds via approved channels. Loan Monitoring & Recovery: Track loan accounts and ensure timely repayment of EMIs. Send reminders or initiate recovery action for overdue accounts. Assist in the auction process in case of non-repayment (as per company policy). Compliance & Reporting: Follow all internal audit, compliance, and operational guidelines. Maintain accurate records and daily reports of transactions. Coordinate with branch and area managers for approvals and escalations. Required Qualifications: Minimum: 10+2 / Higher Secondary Education Preferred: Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration Basic computer literacy and familiarity with financial software Experience in banking or NBFCs is preferred Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location: In person
