Job Title: Accountant Location: Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Up to ₹28,000/month (Negotiable based on experience and skill set) Job Description: United Distributor is looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of GST and TDS regulations and ensure timely compliance. The role demands accuracy, integrity, and a high level of organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: · Maintain accurate financial records and reports. · Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations. · File GST returns, TDS returns , and other statutory dues. · Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial summaries. · Support internal audits and maintain proper documentation. · Monitor cash flow and assist in budget forecasting. · Coordinate with external auditors and consultants when required. Required Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting or Finance. · Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role. · Proficiency in Tally ERP , MS Excel and accounting practices. · In-depth knowledge of GST , TDS and financial compliance. · Strong analytical and time management skills. · High sense of integrity, responsibility and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: · Experience in wholesale/distribution or retail sectors. · Working knowledge of payroll, stock accounting and taxation.
