Job Purpose "This position is open with Bajaj Finance ltd." Data is at the center of anything we do at BFL. As a data scientist, you would be part of a team thats leading the next wave of disruption at a whole new scale. Using newer data science techniques, working closely with partners and other data science team you would be responsible to unlock the big opportunities that helps us create newer program to provide better product or services to consumers and result in creating most profitable product programs for the organization. This role requires working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment; Establishes and maintains professional networks with subject matter experts. Duties and Responsibilities Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences, as well as breakthrough technology and concepts designed to deliver on new go-to-market strategies Identify and solve problems independently in a constantly changing environment Leverage wide data sources to discover interesting trends Collaborate with teams and partners to build machine learning models Challenge status quo and build solutions around them Intense focus on achieving both short term and long-term goals Should be able to drive and execute an agenda in a fluid environment Challenge the status quo, promote the culture of deep and wide thinking and be a part of a high performing team Assume increasing responsibilities and are not constrained by boundaries Key Decisions / Dimensions Target setting Campaign Management Project Management Major Challenges Stake Holder Management Multiple Ad-hoc analysis Deliverables within tight timelines Required Qualifications and Experience Educational Qualifications: Qualifications- bachelors degree or masters degree from Premier Institutes. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in python programing Machine Learning Techniques using Python SQL Power point Excel Professional Skills: 3+ relevant experience in data science and advance analytics domain Experience in team management and stake holder management Ability to interact with people across the functions, gain information and drive projects Problem solving, self-starter and able to handle the key projects independently Ability to build the high-end data science capabilities within the team to produce the relevant solutions by using cutting edge data science tools and techniques Focus on strong understanding of business, consistently producing the revenue generating opportunities Quick learner, agile with result- oriented approach BFSI domain experience is plus
