The Organization is a leading manufacturer of Jewellery designs, headquartered in Mumbai for over 30 years and supplying to their B2B and B2C clients. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies to align with business goals and optimize purchasing power. Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and execute supplier contracts. Monitor supplier performance against delivery, cost, and quality criteria; resolve issues promptly. Prepare and manage procurement MIS and budgets and track cost savings initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (production, finance, and inventory teams) to forecast future procurement needs. Review and approve purchase orders Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, company policy, and industry regulations. Develop and maintain supplier relationships to foster collaboration and loyalty. Monitor market trends and pricing to make informed buying decisions. Prepare reports on procurement activity, supplier performance, and cost reductions. Lead and develop procurement team members; provide training and guidance. Qualifications and Experience: 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production industry. Experience in supplier negotiations, sourcing strategies, and supplier relationship management. Familiar with procurement software and enterprise resource planning systems. Strong knowledge of pricing structures, supplier contracts, and industry standards.
