Job Profile: Human Resources Manager Job Title: Human Resources Manager Location: Chandigarh Reports To: Director Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all HR functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with labour laws, enhancing employee engagement, and aligning people practices with business goals. This role plays a critical part in fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Lead the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including job design, job postings, interviews, and candidate evaluation. Implement a structured and effective onboarding program to ensure smooth integration of new employees. 2. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution Act as a liaison between employees and management to address queries, grievances, and concerns. Handle conflicts, mediate disputes, and lead disciplinary or termination processes in a fair, transparent, and legally compliant manner. 3. Performance Management Oversee the performance appraisal system to support high performance and employee development. Guide managers on goal-setting, performance conversations, coaching, and feedback delivery. 4. Compensation & Benefits Administration Manage the organizations compensation structure and benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid leave. Ensure compensation practices remain competitive and compliant with applicable regulations. 5. Training & Development Identify training needs at the organizational and individual level. Develop and oversee training programs to enhance workforce capability and support career progression. 6. Compliance & Policy Management Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures. Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal labour laws, including Provident Fund and statutory requirements. 7. HR Strategy & Analytics Partner with senior leadership to formulate and implement strategic HR initiatives. Use HR metrics (e.g., turnover, retention, satisfaction scores) to provide actionable insights and recommend improvements. 8. Workplace Culture & DEI Initiatives Drive initiatives to strengthen organizational culture and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive work environment for all employees. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum 15 years of proven experience in HR management or similar senior-level HR roles. Strong knowledge of labour laws, Provident Fund regulations, and HR best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution, and leadership abilities. High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Proficiency in HRMS/HR software tools is essential. Compensation CTC: Up to 15 Lakhs per annum Desired Attributes People-oriented, results-driven, and strategic thinker. Adaptable, innovative, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are highly desirable. Working Conditions Primarily office-based role with occasional travel to other locations. Work may be performed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
