The Billing Engineer in a Building works - Govt. Contractor is primarily responsible for managing the financial aspects of the project, including billing, payment certification, and financial documentation. Ensure accurate measurement and quantity take-off for billing purposes. Coordinate with the project team to prepare RA (Running Account) bills. BOQ (Bill of Quantities) Management: Assist in preparing and updating the Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Validate quantities in contractor/vendor invoices against BOQ. Contract and Payment Management: Monitor and process subcontractor and vendor payments. Assist in resolving disputes related to payments or discrepancies in quantities. Cost Monitoring and Reporting: Track project costs and compare them with the budget. Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions and prepare cost reports. Document Control: Ensure proper documentation of work progress, bills, and other financial records. Maintain records of payment certifications and approvals. Coordination: Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and vendors to ensure smooth billing operations. Act as a liaison between the client, contractors, and the finance team for billing matters.
